Die Fußballartisten - Fußballjongleur meets Nike-Freestylerin
At the 7th and 8th of June 2006 the FIFA-World Congress had a meeting with 1000 delegated in Munich. Present were OK-Chief Franz Beckenbauer, FIFA-President Joseph Blatter, Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel, Prime Minister Edmund Stoiber and for the first time in history with 109 participants the biggest Get-Together of formerly World Cup-Winners of the passed 56 years. Among them, representative for the seven World Cup-Winners were Alcides Ghiggis (Uruguay 1950), Horst Eckel (Germany 1954), Pepe (Brasil 1958), Sir Bobby Charlton (England 1966), Mario Kempes (Argentina 1978), Giancario Antognoni (Italy 1982) and Didier Deschamps (France 1998).
The opening ceremony which was produced by the Allegro Art Agency started out with an opening speech of Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel. Ongoing were performances of 62 artists of different nations and cultures in the world premier show of "FIFA Street Vision".
A show which combined dance, acrobatics and live-percussion and showed that football is not only home in big stadiums but also on the streets and backyards of this world. Therefore were booked beyond worldmasters of breakdance and prize-winning dancers also "The Footballartists" Miriam Willems and Sebastian Heller from Berlin. Sebastian Heller and Miriam Willems were both concidered with solo-performances and enthused the top-class subject-audience. The opening ceremony was transmitted worldwide live via video-stream on the websites of FIFA.com and N-TV.de.
